Stockholm, we gotta talk….

Stockholm is the city of museums, I get it. Don’t get me wrong. Museums are wonderful, educational and at times humorous.

The dish brushes? I could have stayed home and looked at that. The spatula? My mother has it. I’ve used it for my eggs and cleaned it many a time. And the third item? I have nothing against it. I’m just not sure if it really belongs in a museum display.

And now it gets even weirder:

The shoes belong to Swedish high jumper Stefan Holm. In the background are the death masks of various Swedish kings and famous Swedes. It is an interesting juxtaposition. It also makes me believe Sweden needs to rethink its choices of curators for its museum.

There were hordes of kids around this exhibit. I can imagine how exciting it was for all of them to look at these fascinating objects.
