Cambridge has a certain charm, I always say to myself when I visit. It has a very distinctive kind of charm, helped by the large university nearby, and the ready availability of a halfway decent hamburger.
It is also a place full of singers, or troubadours, if you will. The place is populated by a revolving cast of troubadours that ask for money in amusing ways but are just as content to play music to wile away the time.
Hence I thought it was another Cambridge Saturday last Saturday when I got off in Harvard Square to see the areas usual population of singers, sellers and students. I came to find out that Cambridge was having some kind of a festival last Saturday featuring many singers. Funny, I just thought it was just another day in Cambridge.
