Let me start this entry by saying that whenever I take a photo, I have an image already in mind.  There is an image forming in front of me, but I can already see the finished image as well.  Sometimes I am seeing a movie.  What kind of movie it is, I don’t know.  Who the characters are, I don’t know, nor do I know what the story is.  But I know what the images of the movie are going to be.  After you see the following images, will it come as any surprise to find out that my favorite movies are 1940s noirs?:
