Now photography, professional type of photography, with a pro-camera attached to my arm is my life. I mean it isn’t my official job, more like a second job for which I get no salary.
But it wasn’t always that way. A long, long, long, long, long time ago (I mean long ago, more than a few haircuts ago, more than a few towns ago) I was in college. In college I took the standard courses and the non-standard ones. One of the courses I took was History of Photography. I thought I was a bit too dumb to pick up a camera and just start shooting, so I took this course.
It turned out to be more educational than any photography class I could have ever taken. I learned references, history and learned a new way to look at photos. Everything could be artful. Anything, including baseball players.
