This royal throne of kings, this scepter’d isle

This royal throne of kings, this scepter’d isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall,
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England,
This nurse, this teeming womb of royal kings,
Fear’d by their breed and famous by their earth

Nah, I mean I don’t actually live in England, but considering the fact that it rains here constantly, we have state administered healthcare and this part of America has the following town names:

Barnstable

Berkshire

Bristol

Essex

Middlesex

Norfolk

Suffolk

And on an average day, it looks like this outside:

OK, no royal princes here or crooked teeth, but come on New England.  It is not time to drop the “new” and just go with England?  And then get to work on getting us a monarchy?  Just kidding.  Don’t all write to me at the same time about the US not being a monarchy!
