The Best Yet

In 2009, I attended my first Boston Marathon.  A Red Cup ran by me.  I was in love.  Well, with the marathon.  The man in the red cup seemed more concerned with spreading the gospel of Boston than conversing with.  Have it your way Red Cup.  Have it your way.

Since then I’ve seen sandwiches and pieces of cheese running the marathon.  I’ve seen   the cat in the hat, men in tuxes, genies and clowns running the marathon.  But then there are sweet moments, like the people who run with their families or for a friend who passed away from cancer.  I love the people who run for Dana Farber and for the Children’s Hospital.  Of course, there are the Hoyts and the handicapped people.

I love the feeling at the marathon that everyone is in together.  And that everyone, no matter who they are, is equal in the eyes of the marathon.  First, these brave people:

Other people of course ran in large groups.  I got shots of those too:

But these next few photos are the best yet.  Not only did I go over to the mile 25 but I climbed up on a big planter and brought a watch dog with me, AKA my mom.  Thus I produced what I feel like are the best photos I’ve taken yet of the marathon:

The best yet.  The best yet!
