Lest We Wax Poetic For Too Long

Snow makes the world look more special, I’d say.  And as my long time blog reading audience knows, I am a sucker for any kind of vaguely industrial scene.  One day I was watching a movie called “Man of Iron” about the Solidarity movement in Poland and suddenly realized that was the source of my fascination with such things.  But let’s not dwell on me.  As the motto of this blog says, I’m never in any of the photos because I am the one taking them.

Well, anyway, I’m not going to wax poetic any longer.  I am going to give you all the genesis of the how the following photos came to be.  I have a job.  I have another job.  At the second job, it was required of me to travel to a building far away from the second job to do my work.  And I will continue to do so for quite a while.  My first trip out there was on Monday.  In the cold.  In a snow storm.  How did I react?  Well, how I usually react.  I snapped a few photos.  Because when I am handed misery, I make photos:
