The Big Chill

Growing up a baby buster, I’m obviously the child of a baby boomer.  I remember watching the movie “The Big Chill” and realizing that people my parents age were starting to feel old.  Like the young children in the movie were my age when it came out.  And the boomers in the movie were feeling their lives moving on from being young.

The baby boomers were so lucky.  They were born in the coolest decade of them all — the 1960s.  The music was the best.  The people were just cool.  The Beatles were together.  The world was divided into two.  Nobody had any idea that one day we would use computers on our laps and waste our time using little glass talking devices to read updates about Kim Kardashian’s post baby weight loss.  Man, now I sound like a boomer myself.
