You could only be concerned about two things in Venice. Gondoliers and gelato. Gelato, I didn’t photograph because I was too busy eating it, but the gondoliers, though they got their own entry already, never, ever, ever, cease to amuse:

Why the weird title? Well, I mean its my blog after all, but OK, stop acting like a teenager.

When I was in high school, I learned that light refraction causes the edges of shadows to be softer. Next time you see a shadow, take notice and you will see that. Sometimes in pictures I let the shadows stay soft on the edges and at other times I harden them. These three below are examples of where I have hardened the shadow to make it seem like it has been drawn on:

And those Venice pigeons were so apathetic that they didn’t run away when you approached them. I actually saw a little girl pick up a pigeon. I could have put on in a jar and brought it home. I bet US Customs would have loved that.
