Stained Glass

I can’t call this entry just plain “foliage.”  Or “fall foliage.”  That was be kind of lame.  I’d rather call it stained glass, as that is what these images remind me of.  Images or times when light flashes in through a very subtly colored window.

World’s Greatest Latte

Food Network has this ingenious little show on called “Best Thing I Ever Ate” where they profile the different “Best Thing” ever eaten by their cast of chefs.  Sometimes the things they show are a bit weird, but most of the time, the stuff makes me want to reach through my screen and take it out of their hands.  A place down the street here actually got profile not long ago and I was quite proud of my humble neighborhood being on the show.

Boston is a foodie city, but there are things here that are worth looking into, food wise.  For one thing, the Japanese-French bakery up the street from me that serves the best croissant I’ve eaten outside of Paris.  Another place in Boston serves this:

Yeah, it looks like a regular latter, but this is the world’s greatest latte for one reason.  It is a “Spanish Latte” featuring condensed milk, way superior to regular milk.  I highly recommend it.

Come on.  Does this not have “corporate brochure” written all over it?   Couldn’t you see this in an advertisement for an accounting firm or a corporate placement firm?  Where are you going?  Are you ready for the oncoming onslaught?

Well, being serious for a second, I don’t know why I never thought to take this shot.  I’ve passed this place about (and this is a purely unscientific estimate) about a zillion times.  Oh well.  I guess my multivitamin must be working.  The photos:
