Pure charm

Its summer and I’ve been going out a lot.  I remember there is an entry up here about me managing to leave the house temporarily. Happily, those days are over.

This summer I’ve been going out all the time and I have to say, it has done me good.  Sure, the spot on the couch is empty now and I have a bit of a tan, but all in all it is good.

Now these photos, they have nothing to do with going outside, but all to do with charm.  Pure charm.  Charm that radiated.

This is a band called “The Whiskey Boys.”  A friend invited me along to hear them sing.  They do a bluegrass Oh Brother Where Art Thou kind of a thing and they are very skilled.  They told jokes, they told stories.  Like I said, I was charmed.

Winter light has that subtle blue cast.  Spring is shiny and bright.  Summer is blazing and hazy at the same time.  I still don’t know which is my favorite.  I guess all of them.
