Further proof I am attracted to shiny surfaces.

God, jewelry is hard to photograph.  Not impossible, but jewelry is shiny and nice and photos just flattens it.  So for now, this is just the start of my career as a jewelry photographer:

I mean this is just so cliche.  Its an old man, he’s smoking a cigarette and he looks contemplative.  Worse, I decided to process it black and white, but I am going to stand up for this photo and say that despite its cliched-ness, it works:
