All the elements lined up in this one. All of them. It was like the photography gods smiled on me the day I took this photo. The light was perfect, the pose was perfect, everything was perfect. All I had to do was click the shutter.
I love the warmth sepia brings to portraits, how it makes everything that much more cozy. This was shot on film, the old technology I used prior to the whole transition to the comforts of the Canon XSI.
Also, as a note to the photography nerds out there, this was shot on Kodak CN 400 speed film. It is a really great film, because not only can it be developed C41, that is at your local CVS, but also you can run it through and get b&w and you can run it through and get a lovely sepia. Whatever kind of mood you are in tonight.
