Oh an ode or short note to my blog reading faithful. Yes, I haven’t updated ye olde blog in 10 days and for that I am sorry. I have been on a road trip of sorts, but never really left the island of the Man Hates. A road trip round the island of the Man Hates where I saw as much as you would see on your average road trip around America. I saw creatures large and small and encountered the occasional tornado.

Anyway, there will be many an entry a-coming, but I just wanted to present this as one of the creatures I encountered on my wonderful adventures:

Yes, the eyes are real, yes the tongue is real. The tongue looks that way because the poor thing just can’t fit its entire tongue in its mouth. I saw his tongue in it entirety when he yawned. It looked like it could lick its ears if not the back of its head. At first I wasn’t going to photograph it, but my friend started snapping away and me like Pavlov’s photographer had to follow but I am glad I did.

Anyway, prepare yourselves (all 8 of you) for many, many, many, many more shots to come. Many. Many. Did I mention many?
