Its still weird for me to think of myself as a photographer as when I am in the act of photographing, I just think of myself as the goof ball with the picture taking machine, snapping away, hoping no one will ever notice.

I also frequently think of my photographic skill, as in do I have a lot of it, a little or do I just get to go to a lot of beautiful places.  Sometimes I need to take a photo of something really inherently ugly to prove to myself that I can take photos of ugly things and make them beautiful:
