Today was some kind of dog day on Newbury Street in Boston. Honestly, I had not seen so many dogs in a long time, but with winter sorta gone, it was time to expose skin, dog and otherwise to the elements.
First off we have the classic “dogs do look like their owners” photo:

The guy posed for the photo and everything for me, probably thinking I am famous or something. Little does he know… But the next photo was just, uh, well, you gotta see it to believe it:
I could not believe it when this man started to flip this dog over and want me to photograph him smiling. He said “the dog loves being upside down, he loves it.” About that, I am not sure…. Nevertheless, this was HILARIOUS. Thank you Boston terrier man.
And then a little more up the road I encountered this monster:
That tongue is just immense. And I got the owner too:
I liked the way the dog was hanging out between the guys legs. No, these two don’t look alike, but the dog was a monster, in a good way. He holding onto the dog to prevent him from going forward, with good reason. As SOON I finished taking the photo, the dog went forward with the giant head and planted a big wet spot of drool on my pant leg.
Listen to me blog audience. Know that I take immense risks when I am out taking photos. Know that!
