Boat race time!

I sit here sipping Alka-Seltzer, probably as a result of this photographic adventure.  Every year Boston plays host to this wonderful boat race called “Head of the Charles.”  Tons of people descend upon Bean Town for the weekend.  There is free food, kids, dogs, and of course boating.  Crew racing to be exact.

These things can be hard to shoot.  You have to just constantly shoot because something interesting may happen.  It isn’t like photographing buildings where you can stop.  You can’t stop.  However, the results can be pretty interesting.  The water was glassy and probably cold and I have to say I have a lot of admiration for these people:
