Dupont Circle, Washington is the home of one of the most gloriously gorgeous fountains I have ever laid eyes on.  I realize that the Trevi fountain may best it in beauty and others may try to best it in pure water showing, but there is something about the Dupont Fountain that I have always loved.  It is so European and American at the same time.  But it is ever hard to photograph.  I have maybe one really good photo of it and this one took three tries and multiple cuts to achieve.  See what you think:
