As I mentioned before on this blog, I am a teacher. And I’ve also added the title of graduate student to my list of credits recently. During the week, I do my insanely crazy job. At night I attend school, sip coffee, analyze words and generally try to stay off this blog while my professors are speaking.
Its getting to the point in the semester where I have to write. A lot. I’m writing a paper now that I have nicknamed “The Monster.” The monster is alive and has a mind of its own. Its currently sitting peacefully on this computer, waiting for me to return to it. The material itself isn’t bad, but its just the production that is driving me a bit insane. But it will be over soon enough. And when it is over, there will be plenty of skiing photos up here.
I went to graduate school before and I wasn’t too good at managing my stress back then. Now I’ve figure it out. Age. Ain’t that a wonder. Anyway, how I do manage my stress is to have my little camera with me and I just go and snap some photos after a long hard slog with “The Monster.” These are the results of blowing off some steam after dealing with “The Monster”:
