Boston Fashion File XXXVIII

Spandex catsuit edition.  Actually, Spandex in general edition.

Spandex costumes in general, on a hot Boston day, must be really in vogue right now.  I saw three different examples of them, from the somewhat normal to the completely insane.

I always try to channel Bill Cunningham in these Boston Fashion Files, but he seems to speak eloquently about the return of floral patterns or the vogue for black on the streets of New York.

Bostonians, well, Bostonians zip up that spandex catsuit and head out the door and there is nothing else to it.

First, this enterprising Bostonian, who was trying to get in on the Wahlbergs fame and fortune:

There he is, the tenth Wahlberg, in full Spandex, trying get in on the free burger action.

Next up, we have, uh, we have, no I will let the photo do the talking here:

I guess he is there to remind me which arteries exactly I am clogging by having the Wahlburger.  I guess.

And third, a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis.  No, actually a fashion trend I hope will catch on soon.  Boston Fashion File is always on the look out for the newest in fashion and style trends.  I am predicting right now that this will be a trend for fall.  Forget “are skirts important?”  Just forget it:
