Now the “editorial direction” of this blog has become more photojournalistic. Well, to be more clear, I’ve just been photographing more photojournalistic type of stuff. I did used to be a journalist, so I guess that is kind of natural.

When I started this blog and when I went back to being kind of art photographer, I was constantly trying to reproduce artistic images I had seen in different places. Pop art images stuck particularly in my mind because I tend to really enjoy those. This one has been in my mind forever:

Was I successful in reproducing that painting? Well, not the same subject matter obviously, but I think the two pictures are similar. I think. Anyone want to sound off??
