God do I ever love the sport of hockey.  Love taps, meditation box, chicken dances, substandard hot dogs and screaming kids.  I mean it all just combines for an excellent night’s entertainment.  I’m not kidding.

And boy do the Paper Cranes, I mean Providence Bruins ever bring it.  Last’s night game against the Allegany Phantoms was one for the ages.  No, really it was.  There were fights, checking, the goalie got pulled and yeah, the Paper Cranes lost, but it was great.  Oh and at one point there was a really long stoppage of play with a lot of gloves and helmets removed.

At the end, one of my hockey watching companions said “come on ladies, its time to start playing.”
