Beards and Crowns

Downtown Crossing is always full of people.  Full of interesting looking people worth photographing.  Full of people sporting immense full beards like these:

And I also mentioned crowns.  There weren’t any actual crowns here.  Just a person with a crown of dreads that very closely resembled a crown:

Boston’s Many Moods

A few days ago, this was the mood:

But then the mood changed.  It changed a lot:

I liked the concentric circles.  And yes, we’re going to have an endless array of people with umbrellas photos.  I’ll admit it.  I have to be Bill Cunningham, all the time, everyday in every way.  I’m considering getting a blue coat, just like my idol!!  Just kidding.

Welcome Home

Yeah, I’ve been bouncing around a bit in the last couple of weeks, but I’m back now.  So, we’ll be back now to the endless shots of Downtown Crossing in all weather conditions and in all manner of costume.

But let’s kick it off with just a normal, nice family shot:

Well, I first noticed the hat, then the kids and then the whole thing fell into place.

Fields of Cotton

My idea of heaven in the sky (realistic version):

1. A television

2. Cookies

3. Photographing clouds while I’m up there.

They look like fields of cotton, powdered sugar and whipped cream.
