Some Kind of Old Fashioned Beach I Stumbled Upon

Actually, it is the same beach as below, the one in Virginia Beach, except under completely different lighting conditions and time of day.

Oh and I’d like to add that the haziness in the photos is not caused by some kind of post production thing I added. I got salt spray on the lens and there was a bit of an effect.  OK, I just amplified it:

That Beach from the Weird Scandinavian Movies

I used to be a movie freak.  I loved movies.  I mean I still love really good movies, like real classics, but I don’t like movies these days.  I guess that sounds kind of snobby or stupid, but when I go to the movies, it is usually to see some movies with other people.

I have two favorite movies of all time.  One is A Room with a View and the other is the Queen.  I’m also quite a fan of Scandinavian cinema, like Lars Von Trier and Ingmar Bergman.  I mean Ingmar’s old black and white work and Lars, when his work was slightly less disturbing and weird than it is now.

I do find it curious though that so many of my photos end up looking like movie stills, being that I am not a huge movie person.
