This is George Town in the Cayman Islands.

Caribbean city life kind of doesn’t exactly resemble what I see in the Downtown Boston.  Check it out:

The Singing Apollo

Apollo is the Greek god of music, poetry, plague, oracles, sun, medicine, light and knowledge.

The Apollo I met in the Caymans could also add deep sea diving and singing to his titles.

First, we’ll see the dry Apollo:

But he felt really good under water.  He probably feels a lot better under water than out of the water:

This Apollo lives in water.

 

The Burst

You can look at this series of photos in several different ways.  You can see it as some pretty fanning out of oceanic water over volcanic rock.

You can also see it as the explosion of emotion, whether it be happy or sad.  Take from it whatever you want:

And now to the antics of the feline kind

So many things in the Caymans were just this side of odd.  Case in point:

Yeah, it isn’t that unusual.  A cat.  But this was nobody’s cat.  Well, actually I stand corrected.  It sort of belonged to the resort, in the way that a piece of food fell down long enough for the cat to eat it, so him and his friends hung around a lot.

Here comes the icon:

Iguanas dominate the roads.  Sting rays don’t sting so much as tickle.  And cats do the surfing in the Caymans.  Just accept it.  The cats obviously have.
