The Elegant Savages

I wanted to continue on my theme of animals as the subjects of Vogue editorials.  I was also trying to come up with a super-Vogue-esque title for this entry and then this one popped into my head.

Knowing Vogue, they’d put some skinnies in some leopard print and instruct them to look as though they are roaring and call it a day.

The editorship of Wrong Side of the Camera holds itself to a higher standard than Vogue.  We use actual animals in our fashion shoots.  OK, they behind glass, but you get the point:

Sorry Gisele Bunchen, Elle Macpherson, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Karolina Kurkova and any other world famous super models I may have left out.  You may have million dollar contracts and famous boyfriends, but you do not even hold a candle to these models:

So Gisele, keep screaming that your husband cannot throw the ball and catch the ball.    And these cuties will continue to steal the spotlight from you!

The Lion Slept Tonight

I went to the zoo today.  To be specific, the Franklin Park Zoo, which was thoroughly lovely and interesting.  My goal was to see a lion.  Standard zoo fare, of course.  And of course the beast was doing this:
