These are my crack

Boy am I boring.  Not only do I do these sort of photos all the time, but I am addicted to them.  Such a boring addiction:

As an aside, I shot these and the others below in about a half an hour and only had 50 photos to choose from, not my usual hours of shooting and tons of photos.  Maybe I am good at this photos thing.

The false friend

This photo, this angle in these lighting conditions is always, always a false friend. What do I mean by that? Well, it always looks so good on the no matter how big too small screen on the back of the camera. You upload it to your computer and it never, ever, ever looks as good as it supposed to.

So, I decided that the only way to turn this false friend into an actual friend was to make the colors insane. That way whatever boredom the picture itself induces, the colors will make up for it.

Sometimes something catches your eye and you can’t exactly explain why

To sound like a self important idiot, but when I went to Italy, I saw some of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world.  Something about the beauty though could be overwhelming, too much for me to take, but this small church struck me with its simplicity and complexity at the same time.
