If there were an award to be given for three of the weirdest photos ever taken, I’d like to enter these into the contest. A brief explanation of why I believe this will follow each contender.
Example #1:
Well, OK, this is Venice and I have an inexhaustible supply of these photos. Nevertheless, unless there is a blood bath, the Grand Canal isn’t usually red. Did I go a little too far with the processing? Sure. Do I always? Well, yeah, kind of. The more I looked at the photo, the more I thought of it being on the cover of some kind of mystery novel about Venice.
Example #2:
Well, in case it wasn’t obvious, I choose this one because of the subject matter. Those are some strange mannequins, aren’t they? Well, they are noblemen from Venice, with their heads attached to women’s bodies. Not your everyday sort of thing, eh? Not to mention that they were resting at a store that had a nice sign on the front that said “I open sometime.” Nice, right?
Example #3:
The single tree shots are probably pretty boring to people by this point and I get that, but I’ll justify why I worked on this one. I could see its potential and I could see lurking in there was a greater photo and I think this is. Yes the post processing is insane, but I think it adds quite a bit to the whole thing.
So I ask you now, blogging audience, lend me your eyes. Which do you think is the weirdest of them all?
