Today, I wandered. Well, me and my trusty sidekick, Mr. EOS XSI wander a lot but today we wandered to a totally exotic location. Grand Canal? Moscow? Wendy’s?
No.
Today I took the T and got off at Kendall MIT instead of Harvard. I know, risky move on my part, but heard there are some interesting things over on that side of the Charles. The trip did not disappoint, at least in the picture department. I got off the T and suddenly, everything was square and geometrical and sideways looking. Don’t believe me? Well, see for yourself:
See what I mean? Up is down, down is up, night is day, day is night. Well, not quite, but I did see a guy wearing a baseball cap with a bird attached to it with a binder clip.
By the way, isn’t the winter light beautiful?:
Ah yes, that lovely winter sunlight, how I do love it. I have so many comments on how lovely the winter light is, but it has one drawback. You actually have to go outside in winter to experience it and experience it I sure did. As I walked around taking these and the following photos, I wondered allowed if it could get more cold, but then I concluded it could, but then we’d all be dead. But masochist that I am I kept right on walking until my legs nearly went numb. Don’t worry, blog audience. I am safely warm sipping a winter appropriate beverage listening to some kind of ick college rock.
I promise more pics and here they are:
So far, these. In a little while, more. The frozen walk was very interesting…
