For one day we shall all be pushing up daisies. I don’t know why I thought of that today when I somehow wandered onto the campus of Harvard Medical School. I guess I kind of think of that environment as this highly Ivy League sort of an environment, which it may or may not be and it also reminded me of one of my favorite scenes in Dead Poets Society, where Mr. Keating, the wonderful Robin Williams, stands looking at all of the alumni of their prep school and whispers those word “carpe diem, gentlemen.”
