Yes. HOG WILD, I tell you. I’ve been to the Gardner Museum about 10 times, which in my line of work is like only attending 75 Grateful Dead shows. For those unfamiliar with that particular line of logic, your average Dead head would attend about 500 shows in their lifetime, so 75 is a proverbial drop in the bucket.
As the activities director at the Shady Pines, I mean at the school I work in, I’ve done every activity more that 30 times. I haven’t paid to go to the Museum of Fine Arts in five years and have probably been there over 70 times. I’ve been to the Harvard Natural History Museum 50 times.
Now the Gardner museum I’ve visited maybe 10 times. Each and every time, they yelled every time I would try to photograph even their blessed courtyard and bless their little hearts for doing that. Recently they changed their policy, after probably realizing that people have been photographing it for years. The surrounding areas around the courtyard aren’t that well guarded anymore either, so one can go hog wild. All this text for three photos? Well, you read all the way to here.
