So Italian

Not Italian enough? Well, this is plenty Italian:

I went for super Italian with this above entry. Neptune, that is the guy here, looks so classically Italian. Here I tried to be SFW because this is a family blog. Here goes:

Sorry, the above isn’t SFW. But the one below is:

Italian Art

Italian art is renowned the world over for it reality, attention to detail and deep emotional response it receives from people.

In the appreciation of this fact, I have appropriated three images from three things I saw on an Italian program about Guinness book of world record holders. What I was trying to do here is show that you can take an image that is really low brow, apply the right treatment and have a little modern art. I hope.

I got bored in New York City, so I decided to go to Italy…..

HA! Yeah, I am in actual Italy, not a street in New York that looks like Italy, or is Little Italy. Don’t worry. I’m not moving here to unseat Berlusconi or two buy AC Milan out from under him. I am going to go out on a limb here and say I will probably taking an absolutely staggering amount of photos while I am here, so I decided to get the firsts out early. As an acquaintance recently said, first photos over the fence. Well, it makes sense in Polish.

Anyway, here are just the first two:

And one photo so Italian it makes your teeth hurt:

OK, superweird

Like I said, the photos from the island vacation are no where near done:

Uh, this was caused me a lot of consternation. At first I wasn’t sure if there was a photo there, then if I overdid the processing and then if it was even a good photo. Now I think I might finally like it.

Recognize her?

OK, she is blurry and I usually don’t do that, but I wanted to do a little experiment on the stilt lady and isolate her from the rest of the photo:

I found her expression to be extremely cool. She just looks so light and happy.
