A friend refers to the Chrysler building as my building. I totally agree. It is mine. And here is yet another photo of it:

New York City is about as man made as they come. There is nothing natural about the city. Even the wide expanse of green in the middle of the city is man made. Well, planned out to look that way.

One time though, when I was visiting a cave with some friends, I suddenly thought — wow, these cave formations kind of look like the skyline in New York. Don’t you agree?:

Well, not a lot of explaining here. These just lined up really nicely:

Saturday was a fun day out for me and a friend in the city. We went to the top of the Empire State Building, where I haven’t been for a while. Of course there are tons of sweeping shots of the city, looking beautiful and all of that, but I wanted to start off a little less predictably.

I wanted some shots of the people up there looking at the view. I looked and looked and looked around and then I saw this and I knew it was my shot of the day:

I loved the curve of the way the guy was standing in these next few shots:

I snapped this one and immediately thought this just looks like the shot from the end of some somber or wistful movie:

Everything can change. I am a cheesy person.
