I see it, I photograph it, sometimes its perfect, sometimes….

I see these kinds of shadows on the street on the time and of course I photograph them, but this is the first time when I think the photo came out halfway well.

Well, I guess its time for the blog to go somewhere where it doesn’t usually go, I will explain what I was thinking when I took it and later on. For every photo while I take it and afterwards, there is always something I bring to it. What I mean by that is a reference, or a mood that I bring to it. I’ve been listening to a lot of classical music lately, and what was playing in my mind when I took the photo was a piano concerto. I feel as you look at the shadow, the music in my mind is coming to a crescendo.

Or, you could just say “she photographed a shadow, so what?” Like I said, we all bring to it what we want.

There are about 400 of these

Other than walking around getting my feet soaked this weekend, I photographed three bands. I took so many photos that I ran out of space of my card. This is just a small selection of what I got.

OK, I am truly in love with this one and am considering putting in my book:

I like this close up:

I’ve done these band shots before, obviously, but I decided to be a little different with them. I guess this one is a bit more typical:

Oh god. There will be much, much, much more.

Once again, on the fence

I am really on the fence about this one. I don’t even know. I liked the trees and the guy perfectly stepped in and lit the cigarette. That is on the plus side. On the minus side, it has that weird out of focus thing that can be good or bad. Anyone who wants to can weigh in on it.
