A return to regularly scheduled programming

So, a short story, them we get to the post. When I first moved away from home to seek fame (ha) and fortune (double ha) I bought an all manual typewriter intending to write (not kidding here) the great American novel. Unfortunately, I didn’t get too far because the typewriter was broken, so I managed to type a page before I packed it in.

Now the fascination didn’t wane with the typewriters, but of course as these stories usually go with me, it turned to photos. Of the typewriter keys. My attempts back then weren’t very successful, but I gave it the old college try. A for effort, I guess.

Well, anyway, thanks to my new technology, and by that I mean the camera eternally stuck to my arm, I gave it another shot. Here are the results:

I love giving my photos titles in my mind, so I called this one “Mad Men,” though I am not a huge fan of that show:

And this one I just called “Red” for obvious reasons:

Sometimes the photos come easy

This is not one of them.

Like I say up here quite often, I do some photos continually, again and again until I get them right. This would be an example of a photo that I have taken many times and now I am finally somewhat happy with the result. Of course I could take another and re-post and say this one is now perfect so look out. That could happen too.

Paradise by the parking lot light

You never know when you will find a good photo, as here I decided to snap a parking lot by sunset.

Maybe I should call this “paradise by Hopper light.” He seems to inspire me quite a bit:

Yeah, per usual I can’t decide which one I wanted to post, so I sorta posted most of them, not all of them.
