Signe Chrysler Building

OK, so my admiration of this structure borders on obsessive, but come on, how can you see this image:

And not think it is stunning? Well, I am not sure about this one, but I thought it had kind of a Ray-o-graph kind of thing going for it:

Two wide shots, just for the fun of it:

Signe Chrysler Building, indeed.

It will surprise no one…

That I actually dream in photographs. I dream in color, I dream of photographs, I dream in photographs.

As most of you may have also noticed, it is always the production designed within an inch of its life New York of the 1930s in my photographs. It’s the same in my dreams. Not to mention, Rhapsody in Blue is always playing. Seriously, when I take a photo, in case any of you have ever wondered, Rhapsody in Blue is always playing in my mind.

So imagine my excitement when I happened onto this one fine evening:

OK, I admit I did a little adjusting, but just to make the yellow come out more. I thought I was going to go for black and white, but that just seemed so boring and the color, it just sparkles. Take a look at some more:

Yes, I know, those two above are virtually the same, but I couldn’t choose the one I liked just that much more, so I posted both.

OK, guilty as charged, I did a bit of work on this one:

And, on these one also:

But with a view like this:

wanting to tinker, is only natural.

Have fun, stay single

This is Paris. No, just kidding. Actually, this reminds me of that Robert Doisneau photo of the couple kissing in Paris. This place, Portsmouth, New Hampshire bills itself the Paris of New England, so I guess this photo of sorta appropriate.
